Ice Cream Maker Reviews – One of the reviewers found that the Philips HR2304 ice cream maker’s paddle is made out of very light plastic which looks fragile and felt that the motor which drives it did not look powerful at all. The paddle also keeps stopping during the making of the ice cream and therefore one is forced to scoop out the ice cream.

Even a small piece of ice on the side is capable of stopping the paddle. The reviewer is also unhappy that the recipe only has instructions for cooking the soft ice cream and comments that this is due to the weak paddle which does not allow you to add small blocks of chocolate or pieces of fruits like strawberries.
